Wild Spirits

“Wild Spirits” Series of Hyperrealistic Drawings

Contemporary wildlife art exploring the theme of the mirror of the soul

The Wild Spirits series explores the power of life through the encounter between humans and their animal counterparts. By depicting children or young adults facing their metaphorical counterparts, I seek to illustrate the primal connection that binds us to the wild.

A duality of strength and vulnerability

This collection uses the portrait as a visual metaphor for our own inner nature. Here, the human embodies innocence and potential, while the wild animal symbolizes raw strength, freedom, and instinct.

  • A symbiotic relationship: These drawings emphasize that while humans have the power to transform their environment, they remain dependent on its balance.
  • Respect for life: Each work serves as a reminder of nature’s indomitable power and our responsibility toward it. It is an invitation to preserve this wild spirit for future generations.
